G Michael Poor is an assistant professor at Baylor University in the Computer Science department. Michael’s research explores the use of emerging interactive technology, accessibility issues in human-computer interaction, and video game development. His projects include the design and evaluation of gesture-based interaction, life-like robotic interaction, instruction delivery, and accessibility design for video game interaction.
Michael earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Tufts University working in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab under Robert Jacob. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University and has worked as an interaction specialist for LifeFormations.
